A step-by-step guide detailing how to connect your Slate & HubSpot portals to your Slate ↔ HubSpot integration account.
Connecting HubSpot
Connecting your HubSpot account to the Slate ↔ HubSpot integration is easy and can be done at the click of a few buttons!
- Make sure you are logged into both HubSpot and the Slate ↔ HubSpot integration app.
- In the app, navigate to "Profile > Connections" in the upper right corner
- Hit "Connect" under HubSpot Account, then select your account and hit "Choose Account > Connect app". Once you receive the "Authenticated" confirmation in the app, you're all set.
- Once completed, you will be returned to the app and should see the successfully authenticated screen. You should also see that the status of your HubSpot Account is now "Connected".
If you receive an "Authentication Failed" screen, return to the connections page and try again. If the problem persists, please contact support@ddsync.io.
Connecting Slate
The Slate to HubSpot connection has a few extra steps to it. To start, make sure you are logged into the integration app and your Slate instance.
- In the app, navigate to "Profile > Connections > Slate Account". You'll find that the connection requires a Source Format name and URL as well as a Service Account Username and Password.
- To set up the above Source Format and Service Account, follow the steps listed in the following two instructional articles. Once completed, come back and proceed to step 3.
- Enter your newly created Source Format Name & URL and Service Account & Username to the fields and hit "Connect".
- If you enter the information correctly, the connection should succeed and you should be all set!
If you receive an "Authentication Failed" screen, return to the connections page and try again. If the problem persists, please contact support@ddsync.io.
